Our friends at Gateway Design Build recently sent us these photos of a completed project in Ohio. This wrap around porch project features our extended height Screen Wall with our Wrap N’ Snap Column Wrap, and our Lafayette vinyl screen door.
Why This Customer Chose our Screen Wall System
Screen Wall was ideal system for this customer because it is a low maintenance option for porch screening and provides unlimited configuration options. This customer did not have existing porch framing, so they were able to use Screen Wall to create the framing for their two-sided wrap around screen porch. Due to the height of the porch, the customer used our 10-foot extended height posts.
The customer also used our Wrap N’ Snap Column Wrap to blend their existing load bearing wood posts in with their new Screen Wall. The customer chose our Wrap N’ Snap Column Wrap because it is easy to install, cost-effective, and requires no painting of posts. Both our Wrap N’ Snap Column Wrap and our Screen Wall system our composed of PVC vinyl making them extremely durable and weather-resistant.
Our Wrap N’ Snap Column Wrap can be used with or without trim and post caps. We offer three different trim kits to match the style of most porches including our Williamsburg Trim Kit, Arcadia Trim Kit and Colonial Trim Kit. This customer opted to not use any post caps or trim kits and instead kept the columns simple to blend seamlessly in with their new screened-in porch.
Lastly, the customer finished off their new screened-in porch with two of our Lafayette vinyl screen doors providing the porch with a classic look and feel.
This porch is a great example of how our systems can all be used in conjunction with one another to provide a weather-resistant, fully enclosed, PVC screened-in porch. Thanks Gateway Design Build for these photos and for using our products!
