Summer Screened-in Porch Project

Summer Screen Porch Project

Husband and wife DIY bloggers, Tiffany and Brandon Lotridge, recently completed a screened-in porch project on their home in Ashland, OH. Tiffany and Brandon documented it on their blog, CozyChicLifeandStyle.com and Instagram accounts. Here is what they had to say about the project and using Screen Tight.

“One of our summer projects this year is to make our patio a three-season room.  Phase I of this project is to screen in the space.  The patio originally had a wood railing that was installed by the builder on one side and was open with stairs down to the yard on the other side.  We started by removing the railing and framing out of the space to screen floor to ceiling on both sides, and also to install a screen door to the steps.  Our original plan was to buy a premade screen door, but we decided to build the door to our liking and style.

Upon researching products to use we discovered that our local Home Depot store in Ashland, Ohio carried Screen Tight, a company we were not familiar with, but had great reviews!  We purchased two rolls of screen and a track system. The product is very easy to work with and looks like a professional installation!  As a DIY team, this is very important to us.  We DIY to save money and the price point and finish of the Screen Tight products we used were really great!   We are looking forward to Spring, Summer and Fall days in our three-season room!
