New Tapered Wrap N' Snap™ Column Wrap from Screen Tight Transforms Treated Post into Finished Column in Minutes
GEORGETOWN, S.C., January 2009 - A Tapered Wrap N' Snap™ Column Wrap with a unique, new patent-pending Snap-Lock function for easy installation by one person is now available from Screen Tight of Georgetown, S. C.
The Tapered Wrap N' Snap™ from Screen Tight reduces cost while speeding up the creation of finished Craftsman Style columns within minutes for a lifetime of value, beauty and durability.
Each kit includes four tapered panels with the patent-pending Snap-Lock design at each corner, two sets of squaring blocks, bead molding trim and detailed installation instructions.
Tapered column wraps are manufactured from 1/2-inch thick outdoor grade white UV stable cellular PVC for excellent weather ability and reduced maintenance.
Easy to install, the Tapered Wrap N' Snap™ Column Wrap securely fastens to a treated support post on all four corners without the need for any external fasteners. The bead molding cap and bases come pre-mitered with dove tails for easy installation. A PVC adhesive secures the joints for durability and long life.
According to Screen Tight, a structural post is required with any Wrap N' Snap™ Column. The company asks that local codes be consulted for load bearing requirements before installation.
Wrap N' Snap™ Column Wrap
The Tapered Wrap N' Snap™ Column Wrap from Screen Tight is ideal for most building or remodeling projects and is available in several sizes. Bottom widths are 12, 16 or 20 in. wide and top widths 8, 10 or 15. In. Heights are from 54 in. to 96 in.
To install the Wrap N' Snap™, simply apply PVC adhesive to each groove, place the column wrap around the treated post or wood column and snap-lock the panels together.
