Screen Tight™ New FASTTrack™ Aluminum Screen Porch Framing System Designed for Multiple Configurations
GEORGETOWN, S.C., January 2009 Screen Tight™ introduces a new porch screening system that gives homebuilders the ability to create porch structure elements for easy installation and limitless project creativity.
Designed for residential and commercial screen porches, the new Screen Tight FASTtrack™ Porch Screening System was introduced by Screen Tight at The International Builders Show, Booth C7281, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Screen Tight FASTtrack™ uses a 2-piece system of 1" x 2" self-mating channels and molded clips. The channels completely hide the clip fasteners for a clean, elegant look, while also allowing for different configurations. For example, FASTtrack™ configurations include a railing system, vertical mill posts and horizontal rails. The system allows users to screen from the interior or exterior of the porch using flat spline, in less time.
FASTtrack™ Installation
The system has two-parts: clips that attach to the frame of the porch and 8 ft, 10 ft, or 12 ft powder coated 1 x 2 self-mounting extruded channels. The FASTtrack™ channels are available in white or bronze and "snap" over the clips for a clean, professional look. Using the flat spline, ProRoller Knife Screening Tool and fiberglass screen, simply roll the screen into the grooves in the FASTtrack™ channel.
